Initial configurations to use configurable models in IBM® Sterling Business Center

As an administrator, you must perform the following configurations so that the configurable models, which are defined in the Sterling™ Configurator Visual Modeler application, can be used.

If an item is created as a configurable item, it can be associated to a model that represents all the possible valid configurations for that item.

  1. Establish one organization as the catalog organization.
  2. Synchronize the catalog organization as the deployed enterprise in the Sterling Configurator Visual Modeler application.
  3. Synchronize all catalog organization users in the Sterling Configurator Visual Modeler application.
  4. Synchronize all locales in the Sterling Configurator Visual Modeler application.
