Modifying transactions

Modify transaction definitions to keep transaction processing aligned with changing business requirements. Update trigger sources, event conditions, completion settings, dependencies, and other transaction properties.

About this task

Update existing transaction configurations as business requirements change. Modify trigger sources, event conditions, completion and dependency support, hold-processing behavior, and other transaction properties.

Procedure

  1. Log in to Order Hub.
  2. From the side navigation menu, click Configuration > Application platform > Process modeling.
  3. In the process modeling area, click the required process type.
    The system displays the Service definitions list in the side panel.
  4. Click the Transactions icon (Transactions icon that looks like a box that contains an arrow pointing to a smaller box).
    The system displays the Transactions list in the side panel.
  5. Select the transaction that you want to modify, click the overflow menu icon (Overflow menu icon that looks like three dots in a vertical column), and select View details.
  6. Modify the Trigger sources, Event conditions, or other transaction properties. For field value descriptions, see Creating an extended transaction.
    Note: Do not modify the application provided agent criteria.
  7. Click Save.

Results

The transaction is updated with the new configuration settings. Changes take effect the next time the transaction runs within the associated process model.
