Order Hub configuration availability
Order management configuration capabilities that are available in next-generation Order Hub today are outlined, along with configuration areas that teams continue to manage by using existing tools. Use this information to decide where to perform configuration work as Order Hub capabilities expand over time.
As more configuration areas move to next-generation Order Hub, updates are added.
Configuration approach
Order Hub introduces modernized configuration capabilities incrementally. Individual configuration capabilities move to Order Hub over time, while existing Application Manager tools continue to support configuration areas that are not yet available in Order Hub. During this period, configuration work may span both Order Hub and traditional tools.
Many traditional Application Manager menu areas, such as Process Modeling and Security, contain multiple configuration capabilities. These capabilities move to Order Hub individually rather than as complete menu sections. Configuration availability reflects the current set of supported capabilities rather than planned or future functions.
Configuration capabilities available in Order Hub
Many configuration capabilities that move to next-generation Order Hub are part of the Process Modeling domain. These capabilities move incrementally rather than all at once.
Use Order Hub Application Manager for the following configuration areas:
- Main Process modeling page that shows the document types and process types
- Conditions for decision logic
- Service definitions for reusable processing logic
- Business actions
These capabilities can be created, modified, and managed directly in next-generation Order Hub.
Configuration areas managed by existing tools
Continue to use the existing Application Manager tools for other order management configuration areas.
- Process type pipelines
- Events and monitoring rules
- Distributed order management configuration
- Inventory visibility configuration
- Logistics configuration
- Returns configuration
This list highlights common configuration areas that are related to order management behavior and is not an exhaustive inventory of all Application Manager capabilities.
Using Order Hub and traditional tools together
Existing Application Manager tools fully support configuration areas that are not yet available in next-generation Order Hub. Configuration work can proceed without interruption by using the appropriate tool for each configuration area.
Configuration availability reflects current capabilities as more configuration features move to next-generation Order Hub.
