Adding additional namespaces to a team

If the Cloud Pak for Integration operator is installed using the All namespaces on the cluster installation mode, an administrator can manage additional namespaces by assigning them to a team.

As part of the installation, a team is created for you. The team name is prefixed with zenteam followed by a GUID, for example, zenteam-d1edea50-9f9c-4d4e-bf44-9c38e5486157.

Any users added on the User management page are part of this team. See Adding users in the IBM Cloud Pak Platform UI for more information.

To add additional namespaces:

  1. Go to IBM Cloud Pak Platform UI.

  2. Click Manage users.

  3. On the User management page, click Configure identity provider.

  4. To launch the IBM Cloud Pak Administration Hub, click cp-console under Location.

  5. In the navigation menu, select Identity and access, then select Teams and services IDs.

  6. Click the link that begins wth zenteam and follow the procedure for Adding resources to a team.

Note: Adding namespaces to zenteam gives all users permission to that namespace.

To fine-tune user access, create teams and assign specific namespaces to users. See Creating teams.
