Event filtering
There are two ways you can filter events from the table:

want to filter out. You must search for these events using the API event naming format, for example:
login_failed.
For more advanced filtering, click the filters icon . In the Advanced filters modal, you can either select the
Event type and filter only by event, or combine with the Time
frame filter to get more specific results.

When a retention policy is applied, events are cleared periodically. Follow these steps to set one.
- From the Retention policy page, filter the event you want to set a policy to (you can either do a simple filter or go advanced).
- Click the specific event that you filtered to open the event's side modal.
- Turn the Status slider to On.
- Set the amount of days/weeks that you want to retain the specific event for.
- Click Save.Note: You will see the Event retention policy is applied message displayed in the UI when the policy is active.
