Managing preferences

Know about the settings that affect your overall experience within the environment. Customize the application's functions and tailor it to your needs.

To access the Preferences page, go to Settings > Preferences.

Preferences are organized into the following categories.

Global preferences - Settings to customize and enhance your environment that applies across the entire environment and impact all users within that environment. Global preferences are configured at the administrative level and are controlled by tenant administrators.
- Auto commit - You can automatically save and commit changes to a project in the repository. With the option enabled, changes are committed automatically when you save, so you do not need extra steps. With the option disabled, changes must be committed by you manually after reviewing and saving, giving you greater control over your actions. Only users with admin privileges can enable or disable the Auto commit option. Developers or other users have access to commit changes but cannot toggle the Auto commit setting.
- Reuse accounts - During deployment, this option checks if existing connector accounts in the target tenant should be reused or newly configured. With the option enabled, the system automatically reuses the accounts if the required accounts exist and meet the requirements. With the option disabled, the system does not automatically reuse existing accounts. During deployment, you need to manually configure all the required connector accounts in the target tenant.
User preferences - Settings that apply to individual users and affect only their personal environment or interface. This option allows customization of the application’s behavior or appearance to suit each user's needs.
- Step expansion level - Controls the default expansion of the flow editor steps.
- Document expansion level - Sets the default document expansion level in the flow editor.
To revert the preferences to their original state, select the Restore defaults option.
