Removing flow services from MCP tools

About this task

You can temporarily disable and re-enable any MCP tool using the Enable MCP tool switch on the Events page in webMethods Hybrid Integration. When you disable an MCP tool it is no longer accessible for AI agents, but can be enabled at any time. Use the following steps to permanently remove a flow service from the MCP tools list.

Procedure

  1. Click Projects. Select a project and then select Flow services.
  2. Click Overflow icon for the flow service and click Overview.
  3. On the MCP tab of the Overview page, deselect Expose as MCP Tool.
    The service is no longer accessible for AI agents.
