Regenerating authentication for ingresses

Regenerating authentication for ingresses refreshes the access credentials that are used by the client applications to securely connect to your project assets. These credentials help keep your integrations secure by replacing old credentials with new, trusted ones.

Procedure

  1. Open your project and click Ingresses.
  2. Identify and expand the application node for which you want to regenerate the credentials.
  3. Under Active authentications, click Manage > Regenerate credentials. The Regenerate basic auth credentials for <appname> dialog is displayed.
    Also, you can see the projects that use this ingress are listed. Regenerating credentials impacts all assets that are using this ingress.
  4. Click Regenerate. The credentials are regenerated.
  5. Required: Copy the credentials and save in a secure location for future reference. You cannot view them again.
    Use the new credentials with client applications to make sure that the connectivity is continued.
  6. Click Close to close the dialog and return to the Ingresses page.
