Defining authentication for ingresses

Define authentication for ingresses to make sure that only trusted client applications can securely access your project assets. These configurations help protect your data and integrations by preventing unauthorized access and keeping your connections safe and reliable.

1. Open your project and click Ingresses.
2. Identify and expand the application node for which you want to define the ingress.
3. Click Generate authentication.
   webMethods Integration generates and displays the basic authentication credentials. These credentials do not have an expiry date.
4. Required: Click Copy to copy the credentials and save in a secure location for future reference. You cannot view them again.
5. Click Close to close the dialog and return to the Ingresses page.
