Managing events

Events refer to triggers or occurrences that initiate workflows or processes. These events can be external such as a new email, file upload, or database update or internal, such as a scheduled timer.

Events signify an external action that initiates an integration process. Within webMethods Integration, a wide array of events such as triggers and listeners are available to enable the initiation of integrations in response to diverse occurrences. The array of event choices provides versatility and options to customize your settings to align with specific incidents or changes in your integrated systems.

The Events page under Projects lists all event types that are supported within webMethods Integration. Events are categorized based on their functions and you can access them from projects.
