Dedicated infrastructure support for hybrid integration scenarios

Performance, scalability, and availability of on-premises connectivity for hybrid integration scenarios is enhanced by having dedicated Universal Messaging (UM) nodes for each tenant.

A tenant can be configured with dedicated UMs based on the license. Contact IBM® support for assistance in setting up the dedicated hybrid infrastructure.

If dedicated UMs are provisioned for your tenants, and the shared UM queues if applicable are imported to the new dedicated UMs, help ensure that you update the settings so that hybrid integrations work with the newly provisioned dedicated UMs.

The routing mechanism of the hybrid integration solution is enhanced. In the hybrid integration solution, webMethods Integration uses Universal Messaging (UM) to route messages to the on-premises applications and vice-versa.

To migrate to the new hybrid routing mechanism, click Update Settings, and restart the on-premises Integration Server. On-premises Integration Server remains connected to the old Universal Messaging URL unless the settings are updated and the Integration Server is restarted.
