Viewing configured Git accounts
You can view the details of the Git accounts that you created and those that are shared in the Version control page. Administrators can view the details of all configured Git accounts in the Version control page for easy management and tracking.
Procedure
- From the navigation pane, click
. A list of various settings applicable for the tenant is displayed.
- Click Version control. The Version Control page is displayed, listing all existing Git accounts related to the logged in user.
Results
You can view both the Git account details you own and those that have been shared. The following details are displayed in a tabular format for the configured Git accounts:
- Source Control - Account
- Name for the account.
- Owner
- Name of the user who added the account. The Shared/read-only value indicates that they are older accounts where the owner details do not exist. The Shared/read-only accounts are visible only for administrators.
- Token Expiry Date
- The date on which the personal access token validity ends.
- If the personal access token is valid for lifetime, then No expiry is displayed.
- If you did not provide any date while adding a Git account, then undefined is displayed. For
undefined dates, you can click Edit and update the date. To update the date,
you must add the token and validate it. On successful validation, the Token Expiry
Date field is enabled.Note: The date that is displayed in the Token Expiry Date column is the date that is provided by you when you added your Git account. This date has no link with the expiry date available in your Git repository. Use the Refresh status option in the Action(s)column to view the current token status.
