Update the connection details of deploy anywhere integrations for a specific
runtime.
About this task
You can configure accounts for deploy anywhere integrations in either of the following ways:
- Method 1 - Configure the account in the
page and use the connection details in an integration.
- Method 2 - Configure the account in the Connections page in the
runtime's dashboard.
Procedure
-
From the navigation pane, go to Projects and select a
project.
- Click .
The connectors that are used in deploy
anywhere integrations are displayed.
- Expand the connector node that you want to modify the connection.
All
connections that are created for the selected connector is displayed.
- Click Manage runtimes for the connection you want to modify.
The Runtimes with <connector name> page is
displayed.
- Click + Runtime . The Add Runtime page is
displayed.
- Select one or more runtimes from the available list of runtimes.
- Click Add.
The runtimes are added to your
connection.
- In the Actions column, click Edit to
override a connection.
This step is necessary to override connection values for a
specific runtime.
Note:
- Sensitive information such as passwords is not stored. You must update those values
manually.
- Overriding asset values for native cloud projects is not permitted in Cloud Designtime, as these
assets are inherently part of the design time environment. Value updates can be performed from the
project’s Deploy Anywhere page. Asset values that are imported or that do not
belong to a native cloud project can be overridden in Cloud Designtime.
- In the Actions column, click Sync to
synchronize all assets with the selected runtime and its replicas.
This step is required
whenever you add new connections or modify existing ones. After the update, you must synchronize the
changes to make sure that the changes take effect. If you are adding new assets to the runtime, the
sync operation might take a few minutes.
After successful sync, the connector
connection is enabled successfully.
- In the Actions column, click Delete to
disable a connection.
