Initialize regular projects into Deploy Anywhere projects to save the deploy anywhere
assets from that moment.
Procedure
- Go to the Deploy Anywhere Project Initialization page in one of the
following ways:
- Projects Dashboard - Click the vertical ellipsis icon on the project card
that you want to convert as a deploy anywhere project. A menu is displayed.
- Packages page - Go to
. The Packages page
is displayed.
- Click Deploy Anywhere Project. The Deploy Anywhere
Project Initialization dialog is displayed.
Note: You cannot modify the project name.
- Specify a Git repository in the Source Control - Account field to
store your project assets in one of the following ways:
- Select Default Server to retain the default settings. The project assets are
stored in the default repository that is maintained by the host.
- Provide the source control details to link an external repository to your project. Follow the
instructions mentioned in Linking Git repository to projects.
- Click Initialize.
Results
The project is initialized as a deploy anywhere project, and all deploy anywhere assets
created after initialization are stored in the configured repository. By default, the projects
visibility is in public mode. You can change the visibility to private. For more information, see
Convert public project to private.
