Creating virtual runtimes

Learn how to define virtual runtimes.

Before you begin

  • At least one runtime must exist in the target environment.
  • The runtime must be public, shared private runtime or owned by you to create virtual runtimes.

About this task

You can create virtual runtimes as placeholders for runtimes and define which runtimes to use in the deployed environments for referencing services.

You can create virtual runtimes in any of the following ways:

Procedure

  1. Go to Projects and select a project.
  2. Click the Runtimes tab.
    The Runtimes page is displayed.

  8. Click Save.
The virtual runtimes are created and mapped with the runtime.
