Adding packages from Cloud Designtime

You can add webMethods packages from other projects within the same environment to your project.

Adding packages from Cloud Designtime is the simplest and most convenient option, as you can reuse packages that are already available within the same environment. This approach provides seamless compatibility, requires minimal setup effort, and enables faster development by using previously tested components. However, it is limited to packages already present in the environment, offers less flexibility in choosing different versions, and can introduce dependency risks if shared packages are modified and impact multiple projects.

Procedure

  1. Open your project and click Packages.
    The Packages page is displayed listing packages that are already added to the project.
  2. Click Add package > Cloud Designtime.
  3. In the Add Package page, select a package and click Next.
  4. Select a source project from which the package must be added to your project.
  5. Click Import.
    The package is added to your project. The assets such as flow services, connectors, and any other artifacts that are associated with the package can now be used in your project.
