Updating vault items and linked projects

You can update vault item values and manually sync changes to linked projects through the Vault or Variables page.

1. Go to Settings > Vault to view the list of existing vault items.
2. Locate the vault item that you want to update and click the Update vault item icon.
   Modify the Value field as needed.

   Note: You cannot update the Name and Item type fields.
3. Click Save.
4. After a vault item is updated, the changes will not automatically reflect in the linked projects. To update the linked projects, you can do either of the following steps:
   • Update from the Vault page

     Go to the Vault page and click the Linked projects icon. In the list, projects with an Item not in sync status indicate they need updating. Select the project you want to update and click the Update selected option to synchronize it with the updated vault item.

   • Update from the Variable page

     Go to the linked project’s ConfigurationsGeneralVariables section, where you’ll see the existing variables and vault items. Click the drop-down arrow next to the project name to reveal the associated vault item, then click the reload icon to update the vault item’s value in the project.
