Box

Box is an online file-sharing, storage and collaboration service for both individuals and businesses. It allows file sharing, document collaboration and access from any device.

Triggers

Note: The Box connector has two triggers, a webhook trigger named File/Folder Operation and Note updated. If you have configured a webhook trigger for a specific folder or file, you cannot create another trigger for the same folder or file. You can update the existing webhook trigger by modifying the event types. To set up a new trigger for the same folder or file, the current webhook trigger must be deleted.

  • File/Folder: The file or folder operation event contains these trigger events:

    • New File/Folder: Triggers when a new file or folder is created

    • File/Folder Copied: Triggers when a file or folder is copied to the specified file or folder

    • File/Folder moved: Triggers when a file or folder is moved to the specified file or folder

    • File/Folder deleted: Triggers when a specified file or folder is deleted

    • File/Folder downloaded: Triggers when a specified file or folder is downloaded

    • File/Folder shared: Triggers when a specified file or folder is shared

    • Comment on file: Triggers when a new comment is added to the specified file or folder

    • File/Folder updated: Triggers when an existing file or folder is updated

    • File previewed: Triggers when an existing file is previewed

    • Task added: Triggers when a new task is added to the specified file or folder

    • Task completed: Triggers when an existing task is completed in the specified file or folder

  • Note updated: Triggers when an existing note is updated

  • Add comment to file: Add a comment for the file

  • Create folder: Create a new folder at the specified location
