Explanation

As part of interregion communication initialization, an attempt is made to establish an internal work exit mechanism. This attempt has failed.

The most likely reason for the failure is that the interregion communication work exit module, DFHIRW10, cannot be loaded. This module should appear in an APF authorized library in the STEPLIB concatenation for the CICS region, in the linklist, or in the LPA.

System action

The attempt to initiate the interregion communication facility (via the IRCSTRT DFHSIT or override option or via the CEMT SET IRC OPEN command) fails. CICS continues.
