WRKAREA

The WRKAREA system initialization parameter specifies the number of bytes to be allocated to the common work area (CWA).

WRKAREA={512|number}: This area, for use by your installation, is initially set to binary zeros, and is available to all programs. It is not used by CICS®. The maximum size for the work area is 3584 bytes.
