SM Operations views
This reference information describes the CICS® Explorer SM Operations views.
Some documentation content, such as the table of attributes in each resource view, is generated only at run time in the CICS Explorer® product. To view the complete documentation content, refer to the CICS Explorer user guide in the help in the CICS Explorer product.
- Applications view
The Applications (APPLCTN) view displays information about applications that are deployed on platforms. - Atom Services view
The Atom Services (ATOMSERV) view displays information about Atom feed, collection, service, or category documents that are available from CICS. CICS serves Atom documents to Web clients using the HTTP protocol. - Bundle Parts view
The Bundle Parts (BUNDPART) view displays information about the resources that are dynamically installed and managed by CICS bundles. - Bundles view
The Bundles (BUNDLE) view displays information about CICS bundles. A CICS bundle is a package that contains a collection of CICS resources, artifacts, references, and a manifest that you can deploy into a CICS region. The package is stored in zFS. - Capture Specifications view
The event Capture Specification (EVCSPEC) view displays information and statistics about a capture specification in an installed EVENTBINDING. - CICSplexes view
The CICSplexes (CICSPLEX) view display information about all CMASs associated with a CICSplex, whether the local CMAS is the maintenance point for the CICSplex or not. - Cloud Explorer view
The CICS Cloud Explorer view shows a hierarchy of platforms, applications, and region types. - CMAS Details view
The CMAS (CMAS) Detail view displays information about the maintenance point CMAS for the CICSplex to which the WUI server is connected. - CMAS to CMAS Links view
The CMAS to CMAS links (CMTCMLNK) view displays information about the links that exist between the local CMAS and one or more other CMASs. - Completed Tasks view
The completed tasks (HTASK) views display information about all CICSPlex® SM monitored tasks that were completed within the number of seconds specified in the HISTSECS value in the CICSPlex SM System Initialization parameter (EYUPARM). - CorbaServers view
The CorbaServers (EJCOSE) view displays information about currently installed CorbaServers. - Data Tables view
The Data Tables (CMDT) view displays information about files that have CICS, user-maintained, or coupling facility data tables associated with them. The data presented is from the perspective of the file associated with the data table. - DBCTL Subsystems view
The DBCTL subsystems (DBCTLSS) view displays information about connections between active CICS systems and DBCTL subsystems. - DB2 Connections view
The DB2 Connections (DB2CONN) view displays information about DB2® connections defined to CICSPlex SM by means of DB2CDEF objects. - DB2 Entries view
The DB2 Entries (DB2ENTRY) view displays information about entry threads used by the CICS DB2 attachment facility in active CICS systems being managed by CICSPlex SM. - DB2 Transactions view
The DB2 Transactions (DB2TRN) view displays information about DB2 transactions in the current context and scope. - Document Templates view
The Document Templates (DOCTEMP) view displays information about document templates in the current context and scope. - Dynamic Storage Areas view
The Dynamic Storage Areas (CICSDSA) view displays information about dynamic storage areas (DSAs) within each CICS system. - EP Adapters view
The EP Adapters view (EPADAPT) displays information about a specified EP Adapter. - EP Adapter Sets view
The EP Adapter Sets view (EPADSET) displays information about the event processing adapter set for a specified event binding. - Event Bindings view
The Event Bindings (EVNTBIND) view displays information about CICS event bindings. An event binding is an XML definition that defines a business event to CICS. An event binding consists of event specifications, capture specifications, and dispatcher information. - Event Processing view
The Event Processing view (EVNTGBL) retrieves information about a specified event process. - Extrapartition TD Queues view
The Extrapartition TD Queues (EXTRATDQ) view displays information about currently installed extrapartition transient data queues. - Global Dynamic Storage Areas view
The Global Dynamic Storage Area (CICSSTOR) view displays information about all the CICS dynamic storage areas (DSAs) in an active system being managed by CICSPlex SM. - Global TS Queue Statistics view
The TS Queue Statistics (TSQGBL) view displays information about temporary storage queue usage. - Global User Exits view
The Global User Exits view (EXITGLUE) shows information about installed CICS TS global user exits. - Indirect TD Queues view
The Indirect TD Queues (INDTDQ) view displays information about currently installed indirect transient data queues. - Interval Control Requests view
The Interval Control Requests (REQID) view displays information about outstanding interval control requests in active CICS systems. - Intrapartition TD Queues view
The Intrapartition TD Queues (INTRATDQ) view displays information about currently installed intrapartition transient data queues. - IPIC connections view
In a TCP/IP network, IPIC connections view displays the state of currently-installed IP intercommunications connections (also known as IPIC connections). - ISC/MRO Connections view
The ISC/MRO Connections (CONNECT) view displays information about ISC over SNA connections and MRO connections. - Journal Models view
The Journal Models (JRNLMODL) view displays information about installed journal models and corresponding log stream names. - Journal Names view
The Journal Names (JRNLNAME) view displays information about the system log and general logs. - JVM Class Cache view
The JVM Class Cache (CLCACHE) view displays information about Java™ virtual machine shared class caches in the CICS address space. - JVM Pools view
The Java virtual machine (JVM) pools (JVMPOOL) view displays information about the pool of JVMs in the CICS address space. - JVM Profiles view
The JVM profiles (JVMPROF) view displays information about Java virtual machines profiles in the CICS address space. - JVM Servers view
The JVM Servers (JVMSERV) view displays information about JVM servers in the CICS address space. The JVM requires a Language Environment® enclave and a pool of T8 TCBs. Each task uses a T8 TCB to run as a pthread in the JVM. The runtime environment is represented in CICS by a resource called JVMSERVER. The JVMSERVER resource defines the runtime options for the JVM, including the location of the JVM profile and the maximum number of threads that the JVM supports. - JVM Status view
The JVM Status (JVM) view displays information about Java virtual machines in the CICS address space. - LIBRARYs view
The LIBRARYs (LIBRARY) view displays information about currently installed LIBRARYs. A LIBRARY represents a PDS/PDSE or sequence of concatenated PDS/PDSEs containing program entities that make up an application or group of applications, although the actual contents are determined by the systems programmer. DFHRPL is a special example of a LIBRARY that cannot be altered in a running CICS system. - LIBRARY DS Names view
The LIBRARY DS Names (LIBDSN) view displays information about the data sets contained in the currently installed LIBRARY resources. - Local Files view
The Local Files (LOCFILE) view displays information about local CICS files in the current context and scope. - Local Transactions view
The Local Transactions (LOCTRAN) view displays information about local CICS and user-defined local transactions in the current context and scope. - LSR Pool Buffer
The LSR Pool Buffer (LSRPBUF) view is a CICS resource that describes a local shared resources buffer pool in an active CICS system being managed by CICSPlex SM. - LSR Pool resource view
The LSR Pool resource (LSRPOOL) view defines the size and characteristics of the local shared resources (LSR) pool. - Managed Regions view
The Managed Regions (MAS) view displays information about managed regions known to CICSplex. - Management Parts view
The Management Parts (MGMTPART) view displays information about the relationship between CICS bundles and the applications or platforms with which they are associated, and reports the status of the installed bundles. - MQ Connections view
The MQ Connections (MQCON) view displays attributes of the CICS-MQ connection, as defined by the MQCONN resource definition for the CICS region. - MQ Connection Statistics view
The MQ Connection Statistics (MQCONN) view displays status information and statistics for the IBM® MQ connection for a CICS region. - MQ Initiation Queues view
The MQ Initiation Queues (MQINI) view displays the attributes of the implicit MQINI resource definition for the CICS region, which CICS installs when you install an MQCONN resource definition that includes a setting for the INITQNAME attribute. - OSGi Bundles view
The OSGi Bundles (OSGIBUND) view displays information about OSGi Bundle resources. - OSGi Services view
The OSGi Services (OSGISERV) view displays information about OSGi services. - Physical Data Sets view
The Physical Data Sets (DSNAME) view displays information about data sets associated with installed CICS files. - Pipelines view
The Pipelines (PIPELINE) view displays information about the processing nodes that act on a service request and on the response to it when a CICS application acts in the role of a Web service provider or requester. - Platforms view
The Platforms (PLATFORM) view displays information about the CICS platforms that are running in a CICSplex. A platform includes information about the location of the platform bundle, its definition, and the home directory for deploying applications. - Process Types view
The Process type (PROCTYP) views display information about BTS process types and their attributes. - Programs view
The Programs (PROGRAM) view displays information about currently installed programs. - Regions view
The Regions (CICSRGN) view displays information about the active CICS systems in the current context and scope. - Remote Files view
The Remote Files (REMFILE) view displays information about remote CICS files in the current context and scope. - Remote Transactions view
The Remote Transactions (REMTRAN) view displays information about remote CICS and user-defined transactions in the current context and scope. - RPL List view
The RPL List (RPLLIST) view displays information about the relocatable program library data sets concatenated to the DFHRPL DDNAME for each CICS system in the startup JCL. - RTA Events view
The RTA Events (EVENT) view shows RTA event information for CICS regions in the current context and scope. - Shared TS Queues view
The Shared Temporary Storage Queues view (TSQSHR) displays information about shared temporary storage queues. - Stream Names view
The Stream Names (STREAMNM) view displays information about currently connected MVS™ log streams. - System Dumps view
The CICS System Dumps view (SYSDUMP) displays information about system dump codes for active CICS systems. - Task Associations view
