Configuring Red Hat OpenShift Data Foundation dynamic storage
You can configure Red Hat® OpenShift® Data Foundation storage from the OpenShift Container Platform web console.
Before you begin
You must have installed OpenShift Data Foundation service.
Procedure

In the Data Foundation page, click Configure.
The OpenShift Container Platform web console gets displayed and you can configure from there.
- Complete the configuration in OpenShift Container Platform
web console. Example procedure to deploy Red Hat OpenShift Data Foundation on OpenShift Container Platform using dynamic storage devices provided by Amazon Web Services, see Deploy OpenShift Data Foundation using dynamic storage devices.After you complete the configuration in the OpenShift Container Platform web console, the Data Foundation page now includes Capacity, Health, and Storage nodes sections:
- Capacity
- The total capacity is represented in a line graph. The block, file and object are distinguished by different colors.
- Health
- It includes Storage cluster and Data resiliency. The status gets displayed only after the provisioning is complete. You can check in the Storage > Data Foundation. Go to Storage Systems to see the created storage file system. Open the file system and in the Overview tab. In the Storage > Persistent Volumes page, you can view the local persistent volumes based on the selected disk.
- Storage nodes
- It includes the list of all nodes used in your local storage configuration. The node details listed in the table are Name, Status, Zone, CPU, and Memory (GiB). You can use the search option to filter and search for nodes. You can add nodes to scale up. For the procedure to add nodes, see Adding nodes to your Red Hat OpenShift Data Foundation local storage
