Managing IBM Spectrum Fusion services
In the service-based IBM Spectrum Fusion HCI and IBM Spectrum Fusion, you have an option to choose the features that you want to deploy. You do not have to install all the features at the install time instead enable a feature which is available as a service on-demand basis. As an administrator, you can install or enable the required services from the user interface.
- Global data platform
- The global data platform provides high availability storage and crash consistent backup for IBM Spectrum Fusion.
- OpenShift Data Foundation
- Red Hat® OpenShift® Data Foundation as storage in IBM Spectrum Fusion. You can enable and manage the Red Hat OpenShift Data Foundation services, deploy and scale up or out the
storage cluster.Note: Red Hat OpenShift Data Foundation is not available in IBM Spectrum Fusion HCI.
- Backup & restore
- The Backup & restore provides application centric backup and data recovery.
