Tips and keyboard shortcuts for the desktop Process Designer (deprecated)
You can use several features in Process Designer to improve your efficiency.
Here are some tips and shortcuts to keep in mind when you are in the Designer view of Process Designer.
- To maximize the space available for the main canvas, hide the library by clicking the toggle at the bottom of Revision History.
- To hide the palette, click the left margin of the palette. To restore the library and the palette, click the toggle icon and the palette margin.
- To move from one open library item to another, click the arrow keys or the menu at the top of the window.
- To create a library item, press Ctrl+Shift+N.
- To open an existing library item, press Ctrl+Shift+O.
- To prevent you from losing changes, unsaved changes are flagged with an asterisk next to the item name at the top of the window.
- To select multiple items in a category, press and hold the Ctrl key, and then click each item.

- To see updates that are made by other users, you can view concurrent activity as described in Process Designer.
