Using the Decision Center Business console

To deploy a decision service to a Decision Server outside of your cloud tenant, you add it as a target server in the Decision Center Business console.

Before you begin

You must have external connectivity to the internet on the Rule Execution Server for the Decision Center to be able to connect to it.

About this task

Follow these steps to add a Decision Server as a target server in the Decision Center Business console.

Procedure

  1. Launch the Decision Center Business console in your cloud tenant.
  2. In Servers tab, click + to add a new external server .
    The New Server window opens.
  3. Enter a Server Name and the Server URL.

    Server_URL can be https://<host_ source> or https://<host_dest>

  4. Enter the User Name and Password of the target Rule Execution Server where you want to deploy.
  5. If necessary, enter a Description.
  6. In Usage select Deployment.
  7. Use Groups to restrict access to the external Rule Execution Server.

  8. Click Test to test the connection.
  9. Click Done.
  10. In the Decision Center go to the decision service you want to deploy and create a new deployment configuration referencing the newly added target server. .
