IBM MQ Console: Viewing queue manager status

You can use the console to view the status of a running queue manager.

About this task

You can view status information equivalent to that returned by the qmstatus command for a running queue manager. The information displayed is shown in a General tab, a Logging tab, and a Native HA tab.

• To view the status of a queue manager from the configuration view:
  1. Ensure that the queue manager is running, and select it in the queue manager list.
  2. Select View configuration from the menu .
  3. Click the Status tab to open the status view.
     • Click General to view general status information.
     • Click Logging to view status information about the queue manager log.
     • Click Native HA to view status information for a Native HA configuration (you are informed if you have no Native HA capabilities configured).
• To view the status of a queue manager from the shortcut menu:
  1. Ensure that the queue manager is running, and select it in the queue manager list.
  2. Select View status from the menu .
