Setting access preferences for disclosure roles
You can customize user access to SRM disclosures and responses by overriding default disclosure role permissions.
About this task
As a system administrator, you can enable three overrides to give users broader access to
SRM disclosures and responses.
- Enable content visibility regardless of disclosure roles: Allows general users to see all SRM disclosures and responses within their access level, even if they are not assigned a disclosure role.
- Enable content editing permissions regardless of disclosure roles: Allows general users to edit visible responses, regardless of their disclosure role.
- Enable workflow permissions regardless of disclosure roles: Allows general users to change the response status of visible responses, regardless of their disclosure role.
Important: These overrides affect only disclosure role restrictions. The overrides do
not change restrictions based on access levels and access roles.
Procedure
- From the main menu, click .
- In the SRM section, adjust the settings for the three overrides as needed. By default, these overrides are disabled, meaning disclosure role restrictions apply.
- Click Save.
