Data Completeness using Closed On Dates

The Data Completeness using Closed On Dates extract report compares the closed on date of all accounts with the end date of the last data record captured for those accounts. The report also shows variances between the active period of each account and the effective dates of the classification group of the account location.

About this task

Note: This extract report replaces the Validation - Closed-on Dates extract report from earlier instances of IBM® Envizi ESG Suite.

Procedure

  1. In the Global search field in the header, select Reports, and enter Data Completeness using Closed On Dates.
  2. Select the report from the search results to open the Reports grid.
  3. Click the report in the Reports grid.
  4. Select the option to display the report on the screen, which is the default option.
  5. Click Submit.
  6. Click Download AS CSV on the report.
  7. Review the CSV file to find records with dates that do not align with the date that the account was closed.
    1. Apply a filter to the first row, the header row, of the file.
    2. In the Date Difference column, remove 0 (zeros) and blank values.
  8. Review the CSV file to find classification group effective dates that do not align with date the account was closed.
    1. Apply a filter to the first row, the header row, of the file.
    2. In the Days Difference from Classification Group End Date column, remove 0 (zeros) and blank values.

What to do next

If you find that the data record dates do not align with the active dates of the account, either
  • Modify the closed on date of the account, or
  • Adjust the dates for the records so that they fall within the accounts active period.
