Report delivery options

When you open a report in IBM® Envizi ESG Suite, you can choose how to deliver the report from the Select Output Type drop-down list. The available options are described below.

Display report on screen

Opens the report in a window view and provides an option to download the report as a CSV file. This method runs the report immediately, but it has a maximum allowed run time. Large or complex reports might not complete successfully. If this occurs, use one of the other delivery options.

Create report and email it now

Runs the report as a background process with a longer run time. When the report is complete, you receive an email with a download link that is active for 7 days. To download the report again later, go to Reports > Report History.

Schedule report and email it later

Runs the report as a background process on a defined schedule. For details about scheduling, see Scheduling reports and dashboards. Each time the schedule runs, you receive an email with a download link that is active for 7 days. To download the report again later, go to Reports > Report History.

Runs the report as a background process and sends the report as an email attachment instead of a download link.

Runs the report on a defined schedule and sends the report as an email attachment instead of a download link.
