Capturing program action data in bulk

In IBM® Envizi ESG Suite, as a system administrator or general user, you can create and modify sustainability program action data in bulk by using a spreadsheet-based report template. The process is similar to the process for uploading account data.

The template fields match the client defined fields that you see when you enter or edit an action through the Envizi ESG Suite user interface. The following list is a high-level outline of the steps to use the template for a bulk upload:
  1. Extract the template and the existing actions by using a report in Envizi ESG Suite.
  2. Populate the template with new actions or update existing actions.
  3. When you upload the data into the platform, the data is validated. If an action exists in the program or the action plan, the action is updated. Otherwise, the action is created.

Prerequisites

  • For simple programs, the program must exist in Envizi ESG Suite.
  • For complex programs, the program and action plan must exist in Envizi ESG Suite

Supported scenarios

The following scenarios are supported:
  1. Create an action in an existing action plan for complex programs, or in an existing program for simple programs.
  2. Update existing actions.

Deleting programs or action plans in bulk

To delete programs or action plans in bulk, on either the Programs or Actions Plans page, select multiple records, right-click or open the ACTIONS menu, then click Delete.
