After upgrading Watson Machine Learning Accelerator

After upgrading IBM Watson® Machine Learning Accelerator, consider the following.

Removal of the Watson Machine Learning Accelerator console

Starting in Cloud Pak for Data Version 4.8, the Watson Machine Learning Accelerator console is no longer available. You can manage and monitor deep learning training by using Deep Learning Experiments or the Watson Machine Learning Accelerator REST API.

Key things to note:

  • The previous REST URL and route (wmla-console-cpd-instance-xxx.com) was removed and replaced with cpd-cpd-instance-xxx.com.

Inference jobs

For existing models that were created before upgrading, the inference URL wmla-inference-cpd-instance-xxx.com can still be used.

Starting in Cloud Pak for Data Version 4.8, for new models created for Watson Machine Learning Accelerator Version 4.8, you must use the updated command line utility. See: Download and configure the elastic distributed inference (dlim) command line utility.

Batch jobs

Starting in Cloud Pak for Data Version 4.8, use the Cloud Pak for Data route cpd-cpd-instance-xxx.com when submitting a batch job.
