Fresh deployment of IBM PEM

After you subscribe to IBM PEM, IBM sends you an email to your registered email address.

Before you begin, understand the deployment topology for your business and the components to run. For more information, see the deployment topology.

The email provides the following details:
  • Name of the IBM PEM image that can be downloaded from IBM PEM Bluemix registry.
  • New features that are provided. For more information, see What’s new.

Supported deployment options

IBM PEM supports multiple deployment options. Choose the most suitable deployment option based on your business need.

Deployment option 3

  1. You can install IBM Sterling Partner Engagement Manager Software for Enterprise by downloading the software from Passport Advantage
    Note: You can skip this step if you have downloaded the IBM Sterling Partner Engagement Manager Software for Enterprise software.

  2. Create the database schema.
  3. Run migrator.
  4. Run DBUtils.
  5. Deploy the required containers on your multiple instances of High Availability setup. For more information, see PEM Portal, PEM Partner Repository, PEM Partner Provisioner, Agent, or Purge tool, if you are archiving data.
