Building the web application

You must use the IBM Content Navigator Configuration and Deployment Tool to build the EAR file that contains your IBM ECM CMIS for Enterprise Content Manager web application.

Before you begin

This task assumes that you have a configuration profile open in the IBM Content Navigator Configuration and Deployment Tool.

Procedure

To build the web application:

  1. Open the following task in your configuration profile: Build the Web Application.
  2. Complete the task to build the web application by using the values that you entered in the Worksheet for building the web application.
  3. Click Next to run the task.

    If you are manually running the tasks in the IBM Content Navigator Configuration and Deployment Tool, you can take one of the following actions:

    • Click Run Task to run the task now. This option is recommended because it makes it easier to troubleshoot and resolve problems if they occur.
    • Wait until all of the tasks are complete and then click Run All Tasks to run all of the tasks that are required to configure and deploy the web application.
