Migrating assets for IBM Content Navigator

If you have multiple instances of the IBM Content Navigator web client in your environment, you can export your teamspace templates or desktops to a file that you can then import to another instance of IBM Content Navigator.

Typically, an application is developed in one environment, then deployed to one or more different environments for testing and ultimately production use. The migration of IBM Content Navigator assets can occur at different stages of the application's lifecycle:
  • Initial deployment of an application from a source (development or test) environment to a destination (deployed) environment.
  • Propagating incremental sets of changes from a source (development or test) environment to a subset of the existing objects in a destination (deployed) environment.
  • If you have multiple repositories or instances of the IBM Content Navigator web client in your environment, you can export your teamspace templates to a file that you can then import to another repository or instance of IBM Content Navigator.
