Configuring a new file space

You can create new file spaces on the IBM® Storage Protect server directly from the HSM for Windows client GUI.

About this task

Use the steps in this task to create a new file space:

1. To create a new file space select Tools > Create New File Space.
2. Enter a name for the new file space.
3. Select the OK button.
