
Vmdefaultdvportgroup
Use this option to specify the port group for the NICs to use during restore vm operations for a virtual machine that was connected to a distributed virtual port group when it was backed up, but the target host for the restore operation does not contain a similar distributed virtual port group.
This feature is available only if the client operates as a data mover for IBM Storage
Protect for Virtual Environments: Data Protection for VMware.
This option does not apply to backup or restore operations for Microsoft Hyper-V virtual machines.
Supported clients
This option is valid for Linux® clients
that are installed on a vStorage backup server.
This option is valid for Windows
clients that are installed on a vStorage backup server.
Options file
Place this option in the client options file (dsm.opt), in
the client system options file (dsm.sys), or specify it as a command-line
parameter on the restore vm command.

- Specifies the name of the port group to use. The port group name is case sensitive.
