MAX REMOTE CONNECTED field (CONDBAT subsystem parameter)

The CONDBAT subsystem parameter sets the maximum number of concurrent inbound DDF connections that are to be allowed.

Acceptable values: 0–150000
Default: 10000
Update: option 19 on panel DSNTIPB
DSNZPxxx: DSN6SYSP CONDBAT

The CONDBAT value must be greater than or equal to the sum of the connection pool sizes for all applications that connect to Db2 concurrently.

This value must be greater than or equal to the value of the MAXDBAT subsystem parameter. If MAXDBAT is set to zero, CONDBAT is also set to zero. If a request to allocate a new connection to Db2 is received, and the CONDBAT value has been reached or CONDBAT is zero, the connection request is rejected.
