OMEGAMON sensor releases
The Integration of IBM OMEGAMON with Instana is accomplished by configuring IBM Z OMEGAMON Data Provider and by using the Instana OMEGAMON sensor to communicate. The Instana host agent (OMEGAMON sensor) then sends the payloads to the Instana server where the payloads are processed, creating entities in the Instana server, and saving the metrics for display in the Instana UI.

Release 1.0.15
OMEGAMON sensor 1.0.15 is released on 18 June 2026.
Fixes
This release fixes an issue where data disappeared from dashboards after several minutes. The problem was caused by a recent host agent change that introduced cleanup of unreferenced thread pools. This cleanup unintentionally terminated the Omegamon sensor’s processing threads, resulting in excessive “Process Service thread terminated” log messages and data loss.
