Create a Policy from a Saved View

Leverage the following article to turn a View into a policy (or if you've modified your current view using the Configure View filters), to turn any current view into a policy, you just need to:

Procedure

  1. Go to the Saved View (or Configure View with the filters you would like and click Apply to get to that view).
  2. Click the drop-down arrow to the right of the CONFIGURE VIEW button in the top right of the page, and select Create Policy. PolicyFromSavedView
  3. Give your policy a descriptive name.
  4. Review the Apply Policy to section to make sure it pulled in the filter criteria you are looking for.
  5. Add a Policy Action for whatever you would like the policy to do (for example, you could add the action to Authorize all Targets capture by the filter criteria).
  6. Optional: Add a policy note to leave your team a record of what the policy is intended to do.
  7. Click SAVE.

What to do next

By creating a policy from an existing Saved View, you save yourself the trouble of recreating filter rules from the view as this process automatically pulls them into the new policy.
