Configuring provisioning for IBM Privilege Vault
Provision users from IBM® Verify to an IBM Privilege Vault application.

About this task
Provisioning provides the following features.
- Create new users
- New users that are created through Verify are also created in the IBM Privilege Vault application.
- Delete users
- IBM Privilege Vault does not delete the user account. If you perform delete, IBM Privilege Vault deactivates or suspends the user account.
- Modify user profile
- Updates made to the user's profile through Verify are pushed to the IBM Privilege Vault.
- User suspend and restore
- Suspending a user through Verify deactivates the user and restoring the user through Verify activates the user in the IBM Privilege Vault application.
- User synchronization and remediation
- User synchronization and remediation are not supported for the IBM Privilege Vault application.
- Fine grained entitlement
- Fine grained entitlement is not supported for the IBM Privilege Vault application.
Procedure
Ensure that you have the following information from your IBM Privilege Vault instance.
- Instance
- The instance name of the IBM Privilege Vault. For
example, if your login URL is https://ibmss.secretservercloud.com.au/, the
instance name is
'ibmss.secretservercloud.com.au'. - Username
- The user name of the IBM Privilege Vault admin account.
- Password
- The password of the IBM Privilege Vault admin account.
