Downloading a CSV report

You can create and download CSV reports to maintain data records beyond the 7-day IBM® Verify retention period.

Before you begin

Note: Downloading a CSV report is a requestable feature, CI-40542. To request this feature, contact your IBM Sales representative or IBM contact and indicate your interest in enabling this capability. This feature might not be available in your location. If you have permission to create a support ticket, create a support ticket with the feature number. Note: IBM Verify trial subscriptions cannot create support tickets.

About this task

CSV report download is supported for the following reports.
  • Adaptive access
  • Application usage
  • Admin activity
  • Authentication activity
  • Campaign activity
  • Consumer usage analytics
  • Fulfillment activity
  • MFA activity
  • Password intelligence
  • Threat detection
  • Token activity
  • User list
Note:

Audit reports that are less than 10000 events are processed right away. Only one report of each type Audit or Status can be processed at any one time in the sequence that they were received. Audit reports that are greater than 10000 events are queued until a slot for that report type is available. The status reports are always queued. You are notified when the report is ready.

CSV reports are rate-restricted to only three CSV report request of each type during a 15-minute period. For example, if you request CSV files for Application usage, Authentication activity, and Adaptive access reports (audit types) at 10:00, you must wait 15 minutes. Then, you can request up to another three CSV files for other audit reports at 10:15. You can have CSV reports running concurrently for audit and status report types. Each 15-minute time limit is determined by when the request was submitted.

The storage capacity for all reports during the rolling 7-day period is 5GB. If you exceed 5GB, you must delete unneeded reports from the list on the Reports > Generated reports page before you can generate more CSV reports. These restrictions are the default settings. If you need to change them, contact support services.
