Supported countries for SMS and Voice

IBM® Verify supports SMS and Voice one-time passwords for the following countries.

Note: SMS and Voice one-time passwords are available for paid subscriptions only. Trial subscriptions are not entitled to this feature.

The following table lists the currently supported countries. These lists are subject to change based on the requirements and restrictions of the individual countries.

Restrictions

Country Restrictions
Australia Customized alphanumeric senderIds are not supported. Australia requires that each senderId to be per-registered. Consequently, IBM only pre-registers the default senderId of "IBMSecurity". The content of the message can be customized through templates.
India To comply with Indian Telco anti-spam regulations, SMS messages cannot be customized by using the IBM Verify message template feature. The following default message template will be be displayed instead: "Your passcode is [passcode]. It expires in [n] minutes."
Singapore Customized alphanumeric senderIds are not supported. Singapore requires that each senderId to be per-registered. Consequently, IBM only pre-registers the default senderId of "IBMSecurity". The content of the message can be customized through templates.
