The Knowledge Base Editor is an embedded application that
you can use to manually create a knowledge base structure and modify
existing knowledge bases.
The Knowledge Base Editor provides the following
functionality:
- Creating hierarchical knowledge bases
- You might require a hierarchical knowledge base structure with
sets of nodes and categories that are placed at different levels of
the hierarchy. One reason for a hierarchical knowledge base is to
create a multilingual knowledge base. Another reason is to use rules
to differentiate between subsets of categories.
- Creating knowledge base rules
- You can use rules to route texts to relevant nodes, or to specific
subtrees in a knowledge base.
- Setting knowledge base and node properties
- You can set knowledge base and node properties, including parameters
that determine how the knowledge base learns. This functionality is
described in Knowledge base properties.
