Socket application design considerations

The z/TPF system supports applications using the Berkeley Software Distribution (BSD) standard socket API functions to communicate with TCP/IP networks. Along with the standard library of APIs that are supported, the z/TPF system supports many standard socket options, z/TPF-unique socket APIs, and z/TPF-unique socket options.
