Setting up an internal host
As an administrator, you must set up an internal host to provide HTTP access to all artifacts that your users need to install TPF Toolkit and to receive updates. Additionally, the internal host must also serve as a web application server that can host web services for scriptable code coverage, remote debug information, and so on. Your Linux® on IBM Z® is a natural choice for your internal host because z/TPF remote development occurs on this system and all users already have access to this system.

About this task
This procedure installs a web application server on Linux on IBM Z and uses the web application server to provide HTTP access to TPF Toolkit installation and update artifacts. However, you also can set up an HTTP server and a web application server separately if needed.
