Deploying a TPF Toolkit fix pack

TPF Toolkit delivers a fix pack as a set of files that can be downloaded from the IBM® Fix Central website. As an administrator, you must deploy the appropriate files that are contained in the fix pack for your organization.

Procedure

  1. Deploy the repository archive file.
  2. Eclipse Installer only: Set the version range.
  3. Deploy the web application for TPF Toolkit services.
  4. Product archive only: Deploy the product archive file.
  5. Product archive only: Set update preferences.
  6. Review Prerequisite APARs for any APARs that need to be applied to the z/TPF system to support TPF Toolkit updates of this fix pack.
