Attention: Do not modify this parameter except under the guidance of IBM Software Support.This parameter specifies the number of general-purpose subtasks to be attached in the TMS:Engine address space. If TMS:Engine is running on a multiprocessor, the TASKS default increases both throughput and CPU usage. Reducing the number of tasks decreases both throughput and CPU usage.
The default for the monitoring agent TASKS is 1.
