- Description
- Determines the trace option. The default setting of
Ninstructs the data communications layer to summarize communications problems, and is intended for stable applications in production. The default setting generates standard RAS1 trace data in the RKLVLOG, in addition to the summary information diagnosing possible timeout conditions. The following settings report on data communications problems:N- Minimal tracing (the default)
Y- Full-packet tracing Note: The
Ysetting causes a great many records to be written to the log files. Use this setting only for testing or problem diagnosis.
