Defining a new project scope

Every time a project starts, the project has to be identified in order to properly control the scoping, customization, reporting and model content that is specific to the project.

Before you begin

Your enterprise vocabulary must be available and your project must be identified. You must have a clear understanding of the scope of the business requirements that need to be supported.

About this task

This task defines a new project scope, which is used throughout the development, from requirements definition to data mart design. The project scopes are defined in IGC as categories under the Scopes category, which is defined below your enterprise vocabulary.
