the command line.
Procedure
Ensure that your Java™ environment
is configured correctly:
Verify that your Java runtime
environment is at level 1.4.2 or higher.

use the command:
SET JAVA_HOME=c:\jre1.4.2

Open a command window, and change directory
to the ISAlite installation directory. Enter the command runISALite.bat.
The IBM Support
Assistant now starts a graphical user interface.
In the Problem Type window, select
a problem type.
Expand the folders to display all problem
types. Find your problem type and select it.
Supply a filename for the data collection .zip file.
You can use any filename. The tool automatically appends
the .zip file extension. For example, if you enter the filename Install_problem,
the file is named Install_problem.zip.
Click Collect Data.
The
collection script runs and prompts you for additional information.
The information can include configuration information or, the sequence
of events leading to the problem. The script might also prompt you
for preferences for data collection.
When
the scripts finishes collecting the setup information, it collects
the necessary data. The tool creates a .zip file that you can send
to IBM Support.
When prompted, enter a filename in the Output
Filename/Path box.
The tool appends the
server hostname and current timestamp to the filename that you entered.
Send the .zip file to IBM Support
